DISOPYRAMIDE
 
 

Disopyramide phosphate is freely soluble in water.
Oral liquids containing 1mg per mL or 10mg per mL of disopyramide can be prepared by mixing the capsule contents with Cherry Syrup NF1 or a suitable alternative.   These mixtures are chemically stable at room temperature or stored in a refrigerator.  Amber glass containers were used in the study.
Extended release formulations should not be used to prepare oral liquids.
Disopyramide phosphate injection (10mg per mL) is available in some countries and could be administered orally.
