ISRADIPINE
 
Isradipine is practically insoluble in water but is soluble in ethanol.

Formula 1

Isradipine 1mg per mL
 
Isradipine capsules (Dynacirc®) 5mg 10   
Glycerol (to levigate to paste) qs   
Syrup 50  mL
 
Expiry:  30 days.
 
Stability:   Chemically stable for at least 35 days in
amber glass bottles at 4°C.
 
Storage:  Refrigerate.  Amber, glass bottles.
 
Shake well before use
 

 
NOTE
  1. The drug is in suspension and may have a tendency to settle and form a sediment over time.
    Shake well before giving the dose.
